Happy Holidays! I love your site. I'm spending the holidays on one of those las vegas vacations and guess what, I'm putting on my bridal shoes and having one of those classic las vegas weddings tomorrow. These las vegas vacation packages are great and the vegas hotels are incredible.

To Londra and Jamie below. I think it's more of a Los Angeles plastic surgery thing then a general Califonria issue. I find that we have a lasik new york issue here. We have quite a few laser eye surgery new york converts. It's like people are afraid to wear glasses anymore. Oh well I love my fellow New Yorkers with or without glasses. Maybe you two should move to New York! speaking of moving do you know a good immigration attorney . Either I need to improve vocabulary or increase vocabulary because I can't communicate with my US immigration lawyer .

I was just surfing the web to see what others have done. I thought yours was cool so I figured I'd sign your guestbook and let you know.

To Londra below (it is a down to earth site), I couldn’t agree more. I work in Los Angeles and there is a plastic surgeon in our building. In my office alone I know people who have had liposuction a tummy tuck and a face lift . I also know a lasik surgeon who tries to convince everyone he meets to throw out their glasses and get lasik and laser vision correction . People are so vain. Anyhow, let’s respect this guest book and commiserate about living in LA offline. Email me at

Don't remember how I found this great site - just surfin'. But I've set a bookmark and will return, when I have more time.

Thank you for producing such a down to earth site. I recently moved to Los Angeles California and can’t believe how many superficial people I have met. I think they should rename the state plastic surgery California or cosmetic surgery California . Excuse me for saying this but I have never seen so many breast implants . There are all kinds of breast enhancement surgery: breast enlargement breast augmentation even breast reduction it’s crazy.

Hi to you and your guests. Having just had lasik eye surgery I can see what a great job you've done here. I recommend laser eye surgery to anyone. I swear by laser surgery and/or lasik surgery if you need that. I thought you'd like a little verbal communication on this point. Great job!!!

The Karnaugh map comprises a box for every line in the truth table; the binary values above the boxes are those associated with the a and b inputs. Unlike a truth table, in which the input values typically follow a standard binary sequence (00, 01, 10, 11), the Karnaugh map's input values must be ordered such that the values for adjacent columns vary by only a single bit, for example, 00, 01, 11, and 10. This ordering is known as a gray code, and it is a key factor in the way in which Karnaugh maps work.

Bazzail, uh.. bring muu. mever nind.. Oh, ti no ssip .Fi only eht scihparg erew better. I am so sorry, but this has me bothered today, Hans. Please help if you can. There are 16 distinct binary boolean operators (or gates) that map ordered pairs of boolean operands (or inputs) into single boolean results (or outputs). However, for present purposes two operators can be treated as the same if they differ only in that one is obtained from the other by exchanging the operands. Since there are four such pairs of operators, there essentially are only 12 binary boolean operators. Two of these are really the boolean constants ("T" and "F"), because the result does not depend on either operand, and two are really unary operators ("Identity" and "Not"), because the result depends on only one of the operands, while the remaining eight are truly binary ("And", "Or", "Nand", "Nor", "Equivalent", "Xor", "Implies", and "Non-implies").A (possibly improper) subset of these operators is said to be "closed" if and only if all compositions of operators in the set yield only operators that also are in the set. Each closed subset includes the Identity, which is the composition of no operators at all. Any composition is treated as a binary operator by assigning one of two independent boolean values (e.g., p or q) to each of the available operands -- e.g., [p Nand p] is [Not p]; [(p Nand p) Nand p] is T; both [(p Nand p) Nand q] and [(p Nand q) Nand q] are [q Implies p] -- so any closed set that contains "Nand" must also contain "T", "Not", and "Implies").The question is: How many distinct closed subsets are there, and which operators are in each? The number of cases to be considered is sufficiently small that the answer can be obtained by "brute force", that is, by exhaustively considering all cases, either by hand or with a computer. So what we prefer is a more elegant argument, one that may provide some insight into why the closed subsets are what they are and why there are no others. Also of interest are interpretations of the restricted range of logic represented by each closed subset.
